Lanaya Flavelle is an internationally-published Fashion
& Boudoir Photographer in Vancouver, BC. Her work is widely recognized in the body positive community for challenging conventional beauty standards.
Lanaya's rebellious approach to traditional Fashion Photography attracted a great deal of media attention, including a feature in the award-winning documentary, "A Perfect 14", a Top 3 finalist position in a nation-wide competition with Hewlett Packard, and hundreds of magazine editorials, articles, and interviews.
During 4 years of Photographic Studies at Langara, her work was featured by the College several times, including a public exhibit showcase, numerous articles, and a campaign that ran on Vancouver's Public Transit throughout the Fall and Winter of 2016.
For over a decade, Lanaya has worked on many creative side projects, including Refashion Book - a semi-annual fashion magazine that featured nearly 400 international artists and successfully raised money for world hunger relief, animal welfare, cancer research, youth empowerment, environmental conservation and body positive advocacy.
